Do I need an account to upload?
No. Guest uploads work straight away: files up to 1 GB, played at up to 720p, and the link lasts 7 days. Create a free account and those videos move into it.
How do I send a video that is too big for Discord, email or WhatsApp?
Upload it to vewo and paste the link instead of the file. Discord, Gmail and WhatsApp limit how large an attachment can be and often compress video, while a vewo link has no attachment limit and plays inline in the chat or browser. Guests can upload up to 1 GB, free accounts up to 5 GB.
How large a video can I upload?
1 GB as a guest, 5 GB with a free account, 50 GB on Pro and 100 GB on Business.

How long do videos stay online?
7 days for guests and 30 days on a free account. On Pro, links last a year and any video can be set to never expire. Business videos do not expire unless your workspace sets a policy.
Can I make a video private?
Yes, on every account, free included. A video can be public, link-only (reachable only through a secret link) or private. Pro and Business add password protection. Business also adds domain lock, and private videos that play only on your own site through short-lived view tokens.
Will the link play when I paste it?
Yes. Public videos show a preview and play inline on Discord, X, Slack and other apps that support video previews.
Is there a bandwidth limit?
No. Playback is not capped on any plan, so a video that is watched a lot does not cost you more.
